Cinderella’s Royal Table Dinner Becomes A Traditional Princess Meal

Have you heard about the recent change at Cinderella’s Royal Table (CRT) in the Castle at Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park?   This restaurant is now a traditional Princess meal with characters in the dining room during dinner.   Because CRT was popular for engagements and anniversaries, Disney was hesitant to convert the dinner completely over to a character dining experience so, for dinner only, you met Cinderella and were photographed with her in the restaurant lobby on the lower level.   In the dining room, Fairy Godmother presided over the meal from the corner of the room but no characters actually came to your table during dinner.   As of February 7th, 2010; Cinderella’s friends (characters) do come to the tables in the dining room although you are still photographed with Cinderella in the lobby.

A meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table is a “Signature Dining Experience” and will require two Disney Dining Plan table-service credits per person.   Those not on a dining plan must pre-pay for the meal at the meal when you make the reservation.   This payment is completely refundable until 24 hours prior to your reservation time.

Can’t get a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table?    You may be able to get a reservation at the Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner in the 1900 Park Fare Restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort or a breakfast, lunch, or dinner reservation for Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion of the World Showcase area of Disney’s Epcot theme park.

You can still see the princesses and get autographs even if you can’t get a reservation for a princess meal.  See our princess page for locations: http://www.buildabettermousetrip.com/disneyprincesses.php
